This map is the result of a level design and level building exercise on UDK 3 produced in april 2013.       My roles : – Project communication (documentations and schemas) – Placed Materials & Static Mesh   The Project : This map for Unreal Tournament 3 is the result of a level design and level building exercise on UDK. We were 4 students working on this project. Steam Mill is a 6/10 players map for Team Death Match mode. The main concept of this map is to create a vertical arena where it is totally impossible to stay motionless. We created some tricks to force players to move. The main idea is to keep the whole level in movement. In this purpose we made a big wheel with apertures inside separating the two teams spawn points. Players have to move with the wheel to aim at opponents and can’t stay in front of apertures without being killed. We also designed big steam cannon on the centre of the map. This cannon is constantly rotating, spreading killing steam around the map. Players have to move near this steam to catch bonuses but can’t stay close forever or they will be killed. One last idea is to make platforms on the top of the map to encourage sniper use (if there are snipers, other players have to be in constant motion). But has we wanted all players to move we conceived some dangerous platforms. These ones are elevating when a player is staying on. Using this trick, sniper players can’t perform more than one or two shots on the same platform or they are squished. Even snipers are forced to move and there is no “camper problem”. An artistic installation achieved in february 2012.   Software : – Arduino card – Processing – Photoshop – Audacity Closed Opened Goal : We had to divert the use of everyday object and insert a interactive dimension. We worked in team of 4 members. The project : We chose to take the fridge because it already offers an interactive action with its door and its opening / closing, like a surpise box. We played with the curiosity of the visitor : teased by the night club music coming from the fridge, he wants to open it and seeing what happens. Key words to represent Timi are simplicity and uniqueness : Simplicity because we want everyone to use it easily, including child and senior. Uniqueness because it unites all mass media (TV, Internet, music, …) in the single object (+ interface). . . The Body language   . You want to go to the top, to the left, to the right or the bottom? What is a Pianographique ?   It’s an application. Generally, when you open it, you have an empty window. To fill it, you just have to play with your keyboard.
